The following is a list of all known errors in The Equal-Tempered Keyboard. If you purchased your score after the date listed for the given error, the error should already be corrected in your copy. If you have found an error not listed here, please report it.

1. (22. January 2022) Prelude in 5ET — p.20: Two notes notated as B should be written A# m.19 and m.21.

2. (21. January 2022) Prelude in 14ET — p.73-77: The following markings related to tempo changes are missing.

p.73, m.9: accelerando poco a poco is missing.

p.73, m.18: The barline should be doubled.

p.74, m.31: a tempo is missing.

p.74, m.39: accelerando poco a poco is missing.

p.74, m.46: The barline should be doubled.

p.77, m.89: doppio piu lento is missing.

3. (21. January 2022) Prelude in 15ET — p.82: A tie is missing in m.14-15.

4. (21. January 2022) Fugue a3 in 15ET — p.85: A tie is missing in m.72-73.

5. (21. January 2022) Fugue a3 in 20ET — p.118: Written A4 instead of C4 in m.93.

6. (21. January 2022) Rondo in 19ET — p.126: Written Ab4 instead of Cb5 in m.72.

7. (1. March 2023) Prelude in 20ET — p.114: Written D#4 instead of Db4 in m.53.

8. (20. March 2024) Fugue in 8ET — p.36-37, measures 61 and 67: missing ties.
