The following is a list of all known errors in the revised second edition of 24 Präludien und Fugen, Band 2 (this is NOT the version on IMSLP). If you have found an error not listed here, please report it.
Fuga in C-Dur — p.9, m.42 A cautionary flat on the B-flat is missing in the soprano.
Präludium in c-Moll — p.11, m.25 A cautionary flat on the tied D-flat is missing in the soprano.
Fuga in c-Moll — p.13, m.37 A natural in the soprano.
Präludium in des-Dur — p.15, m.26 G instead of G-Flat.
Präludium in cis-Moll — p.18, m.1 the meter should be 14/16.
m.16 the soprano notes should be written flags up.
Fuga in e-Moll — p.45, m.24-25 missing tie in the alto.
Fuga in f-Moll — p.54, m.9 the C in the soprano should be in the alto, and the soprano should rest on that note.
Präludium in g-Dur — p.64, m.7 E in the alto (instead of C).
Fuga in gis-Moll — p.80, m.1 the meter should be 5/16.
m.15 a cautionary natural on the soprano B is missing on the downbeat.
m.21 soprano G# should be Gx, and a cautionary sharp on G# and natural on B are missing in the following measure.
m.40 bass should have a dotted-8th B followed by B and A in 16th notes.
Fuga in a-Dur — p.85, m.21 sharp missing on the E-Sharp in the soprano.
Fuga in a-Moll — p.88, m.29-30 a tie is missing in the tenor.
Fuga in b-Dur — p.92, m.14 in the alto instead of a D on the downbeat there should be an eighth note rest.
Präludium in h-Moll — p.104, m.43 E natural in the bass should be an E-Sharp.
Fuga in h-Moll — p.107, m.76-77 an alternate ending for instruments with a lower bass range is as shown.
